Alana Beaubrun: A Career in Human Resources

Alana Beaubrun is a senior Human Resource executive with 30 years of experience and a passion for people and learning. A certified member of the British Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) for the past two decades, Alana has built an impressive career with executive HR roles at major corporations like Nestle Trinidad Ltd. and Angostura Holdings Limited. She currently serves as a Director of Global HR for Vancouver-based Methanex Corporation, where she focuses on global HR projects on a part time & virtual basis.

In addition to her corporate work, Alana is the founder and principal consultant of Harmony HR Consultancy Ltd., established in 2021 to provide HR support services to small and medium-sized businesses in Trinidad. Her expertise and dedication have earned her recognition, including the prestigious Maxine Barnett Award for HR Excellence from the Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (HRMATT) in 2022.

Alana is also an accomplished speaker, having presented on various human resources topics to organizations such as The American Chamber of Commerce in Trinidad, the Energy Chamber of Trinidad & Tobago, and the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Business and Commerce. She has shared her knowledge as an adjunct faculty member, lecturing in the Master of Human Resource program at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business from 2021 to 2024. In her free time, she volunteers at the Shelter for Battered Women in Port-of-Spain.
